Project topics
The project will deal with the diffused archaeological landscape heritage of the Ancient via Appia, working on four emergencies along the path between the third and fifth mile of the Roman road, in the heart of the current Parco Archeologico della via Appia: Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella/Castrum Caetani, San Nicola church, Capo di Bove Termal bath ruins, Casal Rotondo mausoleum.
Declined in different ways, the architectural topic of the workshop will relate with the archaeological covering, that both preserves and musealizes the ruins, allowing new uses of places.
